So now we're visiting Vienna. I suppose I was a little disappointed in Vienna as I'd heard so much about it and had really high expectations of how beautiful it was going to be. The city centre was all being dug up so there was lots of noise and barricades all over the place which probably coloured my opinion somewhat. However as I was choosing these photos to show you I started to revise my earlier opinion - as you can see it is still a very beautiful city.
Our trip to the Lake District was brilliant - had lovely sunny weather the first day which made everything look so pretty. Then the next day it was raining very heavily - that's life in UK! Anyway pictures of that trip to come in due course - you've still got a bit more of Europe to visit yet! Our time in Scotland is almost at an end - today it Wednesday and we leave very early on Friday morning.
Enjoy!

This is an overpass on the autobahn - specially built to allow wildlife to cross from one side to the other.
